    Smell from Tub
Hi have a problem with the odour coming from my Bp tub. I use paper towels as bedding , and my bp keeps turning the water bowl over . So I have been changing the paper towels everyday as a result. is there any bedding substrate which is good ? that doesnt smell alot even if wet. and the overall cleanliness of the tub. i have already changed to using a ceramic cup cover as a water bowl . so its fairly flat and he can't turn it over .

The odor is urine, not the water. The overturned bowl was just reconstituting urine, which means the paper needed to be changed anyway.

I'd give his whole tub a good rinse-out, just changing his paper won't be enough if you're trying to get rid of the urine smell. Take a hose to it, rinse it in the tub or whatever. Make sure it's good and dry before repapering though, wouldn't want moldy paper.
