    Worries About Normal Male
I posted a few days ago about his pushing. He's 1200 grams but to me he looks skinny.. Not too much in these pictures but when he's slithering around his back bone seems kind of obvious and he just doesn't seem to have much to him. I'm most likely just worrying over nothing about that part. What I have been watching is the bump on his nose. Anything anyone can tell me?http://i1165.photobucket.com/albums/...psa23dcc6c.jpg

Looks like how my carpets nose was when I got her at the rescue she pushed on the cage so much her nose was completely covered in a spot like that. After her first shed with me it got better tho

He might be rubbing his nose on top of the cage/tub..?

I would clean it off with a dab of betadine and keep an eye on it.

Also weigh him every couple of weeks before a feeding. If he is eating and not putting on weight, I would be concerned.

Yeah he is rubbing. I will try putting some stuff on it.. He is eating only every 2 or 3 weeks and then he'll only take a weaner rat. He is staying around 1200 grams though

I wouldn't worry to much then. Just keep an eye on everything.

Are all of his temps good? Enough hides?

He's on the thinner side, but I wouldn't say he looks bad. And I agree, he might be rubbing his nose on something.

It looks like he has a stuck eye cap in the 2nd picture. Does anyone else see it? Make sure his humidity is high during his next shed so that comes off. Otherwise you may have to get it off yourself.

Yeah I was going to ask about temps and humidity because of the stuck eye cap.
