Substrate question, does peat moss make good substrate?
Hi all. Been trying to come up with some ideas to keep the humidity up in my tanks. Right now using aspen shavings, but even with misting several times a day and having a couple of water bowls in there, trying to keep the humidity at 50% is tough. I was thinking about using either 100% peat moss or maybe a 50/50 mix of peat and aspen. Any tried this? Anyone see a problem with it? As usual, thanks for the input!. I'm still new to this and will likely have many more questions as things come up. I appreciate everyone's patience with what may be dumb questions at times.
