    Need a little help
My loving wife and son got me a new laptop for Christmas, Gateway NV with Windows8.
Long story short is I have kind of learned to move around in it but my email is driving me crazy!!!!
It has IE10 and I have installed the roadrunner tool bar so I can check my RR email (95% of all my stuff goes there)
Anyway, when I click my email to check it, IE10 opens it in a new window, then every email is opened in a new window too!!!!
I am not the most computer literate person in the room but my other laptop opens everything in a new tab instead of a new window.
All the settings that I could think to check match on both systems so I really don't know where else to look.
Its a real PITA to have a ton of open windows and the charm bars don't help any.
I don't "change" very well but they really tried hard to get me something I would use and I don't want to hurt their feelings but I am not really impressed with Windows8 either, then again my favorite was XP.
    Thanks for any ideas.

Not sure how to change the default setting but a quick workaround is to hold down the control key and then click. It will open a new tab instead of a new window.

Tools - Internet Options - Tabs - Settings

It also has to do with how the webpage was designed. Try google for a more definitive answer.

Ive been using google chrome and i like that better than IE. If IE is still giving you trouble give google chrome a try. Unless youre a Bing guy... In which case this is now awkward...:D

Firefox and chrome are much better. It could also be that the webmail page is not compatible with ie10 maybe??? Try another browser though, google chrome has proven itself to be the quickest to me.

Yeah, have you ever thought of using a free mail client and setting it up that way?
