Ive been monitering both my snakes and as some of you may have read the Nameless one my STP LOL has the ol cataracts, but I havent noticed any cloudy eyes on Plissken. Well my wife says the other day "Plisskens lookin kinda shaby" , but I ignore her. Well lo and behold today he leaves me a beautiful full shed! I didnt even get a chance to bump up the humidity but there it was (no poop yet though).
The wierdest part of it though is that close to where his shed was, their was a dime size spot of blood on the newspaper, I picked my boy up and went over him with fine tooth comb and I cant find anything that looks out of the ordinary. Well one thing I can say for Plissken, never a dull moment.

it might have just been a little fecal squirt. Shedding skin has got to move some things around back there. I'm sure you'll have a full load of poo in no time.

Yeah I like to tell my hubby when Bob is going to poop but he won't listen and he ends up going somewhere besides his cage. Listen to the women they sometimes have gut instinct or something. ;)

LOL....yes, listen to the women. We know what we're talking about!

As for the blood, it sometimes happens that there is a tiny bit of tearing around the cloaca during the shed. It's common and harmless, so long as it's small and heals quickly. If you examined the snake and couldn't see anything wrong, then that's probably exactly what it did. :)
