Pet Friendly Apartments

Ha, been a while. >.>
We're finally getting to move and I know a few of you are located in the Tacoma/Seattle/surrounding areas. We're looking for an apartment that is pet friendly. We have just the Golden Retriever now and two cats. Although, one cat can be cared for by a friend until we get a house, so it's all right if the max is two pets. It'd be nice if we can take both of the cats, as one is almost nearing the end and she gets a little distraught when the other cat isn't nearby.

If anyone has any suggestions, that'd be great. We found a few that might work, just figured it might not hurt to ask. Thanks!

I'm not sure if it would work in an apartment situation because their rules are usually set in stone, but if you can find a house/duplex listed as "no pets", if you ask they will sometimes allow it. I live in a "no pet" duplex....with my cat, parrot, chickens, and snake. Sometimes "No" means "I want to know who you are, what kind of animals you have, how you care for them, and if you come across as a responsible adult before I say you can have animals in my house". Sometimes you just need to talk to people. Most landlords don't refuse pets because they don't like animals. Most refuse because they've been burned in the past. Animals can do a lot of expensive damage and after it's happened once or twice, it's easier to just try to rent to people who don't have any.
