    Getting a snake to LET GO!
    Hello everyone, i was wondering what works best to get a snake to let go once it has a hold of you. I have heard of just one way but im sure there are many!

    Depends on how serious you wanna get. I've heard of running warm water on them, using a hairdryer, rubbing alcohol (I think you put it on their nose, can't remember how that one works), bend their tail backwards... Those are the most common ones I see people mention.

    I keep a spray bottle of water in my snake room. They usually loosen up and let go when sprayed.

    I say stop, no or get off and they usually do then sit infront of me staring at me like what did I do?
    Jk warm Water,alcohol, or the good old fashion manually.

    When I read the title without clicking on the thread, my first tought was you were purchasing a snake to relase into the wild. Funny how differently the written word can be interpreted

    I had a Kingsnake try to eat my finger the other day and this guy just kept going

    Water in their face/mouth worked for both.

    I don't know what would work on a big Retic or Burm.

    I use listerine. It's worked both times I got latched onto.
