    Recomended scales?
Im in the market to buy my first scale today for my ball pythons to keep track of thier weights. Whats a good name brand to buy/or where to get one cheap. I learned about using the inexpensive yet very precise Accurite thermometer from you guys so i figured i would ask about a good scale. Would i need to invest in another one when full grown? I see alot of people that weigh large snakes on a small scale. Thanks!

You can buy a food scale from Walmart that works just fine. The one I have is from reptile basics and it works well :)

All you need to look for is one that measures in grams...

    Good luck to you!

I got mine from harbor freight but it only goes to 5000 grams. I'm currently looking for a vet or hospital baby scale for my boas.

I got this one from bed bath and beyond and it has worked great so far! It's a food scale but it works just as well to weigh snakes ha ;)

It's not super big so if you have a bigger snake you may need to put a bowl on it to weigh them

I have this one and use an old box as the container.
