    Pre Ovulation Shed ?
My girls started locking up the last week in October.

This round of sheds seems to be taking forever. Much longer than a normal shed cycle.

Does the pre ovulation shed take longer for any reason?

My one girl seems to be glowing (fingers crossed). If that was her pre shed should ovulate 6-8 weeks after?

    Thank for any input.

I never really noticed a longer shed for pre OV shed. Not every female will have an out of sequence shed for pre OV. If they do, I believe it is around 48-60 days or so until ovulation. Look for the glow. If you see them glowing then you know to watch for the ovulation :)

After ovulation, they will shed in about 2 weeks. Then 28 days later, give or take, they will lay :)

No, even if that was her preovulation shed, preovys are VERY unreliable. Ive had girls ovulate anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months after their last sheds. Save yourself a headache and dont start counting until you see an ovy.

Ok cool. Just seemed like this round of sheds took longer.

I'll keep pairing, watching and waiting.
