    This is Addelaide - a 7' blackheaded python that was a gift from a very, very dear friend. Blackheaded pythons tie with bloods & short-tails for my absolute favorite snakes...they are inquisitive & extremely alert, and sometimes just act like complete goofballs. Looking forward to finally getting my male & trying a hand at producing them next season.

    Those are Australian snakes, aren't they? Don't see them around much in the pet trade. How hard are they to find? Are people starting to breed them? Very cool looking animal, for sure! I'd love to see one in person!
