    feeding young future breeder males?
hey guys i have a question regarding how often i should feed my male future breeders? now i know the normal is 1 right sized rodent a week but i need these guys being able to breed as quick as possible so i guess my question is how much COULD i feed them a week without causing harm also i would like to hear your guys's advice on what you did while trying to get your males breed ready.

I'd say you could feed them as often as every 5 days, but I wouldn't go less than that. You'll just have to be patient. :)

Depending on how little they are now, every 5 days is good. Just beware that an overweight male is going to be a poor breeder. Some males may breed as small as 500 grams, some not until they are 800 or more.

I guess what I mean is, just realize that he'll breed when he's ready, and not when you want him to.

I wish you all the best.

    I second this feeding regime.

Size is much less meaningless for breeding males. Age is the important factor here. Trim males make MUCH better breeders than obese ones.
