Good place to buy frozen feeders
    Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to buy frozen feeder mice in bulk. I'm a new owner and got the last one as a single from a pet store. I know there are a bunch of places online where you can buy them for cheaper if you get several at a time. Is there any site you guys could recommend? Are there some places I should stay away from? It would be so much simpler to just keep a bunch in the freezer rather than buying them one at a time as needed.

    Many thanks!

I'm a loyal Layne Labs customer. Great quality and service. Prices aren't too bad for the quality, and buying in bulk makes the shipping charge more bearable.

I would check for a local supplier first. You might have a hobbyist breeder or a snake keeper that has extra to sale.

I am another loyal customer of www.laynelabs.com. I've had great service and the rodents are very very clean - pristine really. And the way they're packed, they don't freeze together so no rodent ice blocks to break apart. :gj:

Their prices really aren't bad and with the great quality product and service, it makes the shipping worthwhile. If I order online, I'll never order from anywhere else.

I used to use Rodent Pro, but I was very dissatisfied when they had a rodent outbreak and failed to inform their customers who might have been affected (like me). So, I switched to Loxahatchee Rodents and I love them! Even though they got hit with a hurricane when I ordered, I got my shipment as soon as the had power and were able to ship to me. They also kept me informed via e-mail the entire time! Love their customer service and their rodents are phenomenal.

I've only used Rodent Pro. I had no problems with them when all that bad stuff was happening. I was going to switch, but nobody else had the sizes I needed when I needed them. I've stuck with rodent pro since then and never had a complaint

I use Rodent Pro for big orders and Layne Labs for when I need smaller quantities of certain sized feeders (ie only 25 or 50 rat fuzzies or mice pinkies instead of only having the option of a 100 bag from RP). Never had any problems with either.
