    Hello all,
I am sad to announce that my beloved ball python "Nameless" passed away early this morning.
Nameless has owned me for ten years. She was one of the first snakes (the first boid) I owned. Nameless was an adult wild caught female who was rescued by me due to her "inability" to breed. (she was a big biter).
But she never bit me, not once. She is and always will be the reason that I do rescue work.
Sadly someone stole away her freedom, and took away her home.
Just to put her in a box. It was my goal to always give her the largest "box" possible. I am in high hopes that with her passing she is free once again.
Please folks, do not support wild catching of animals.
Put yourself in that position. You would understand.
    Sincerely
    Rusty

that's too bad Rusty I'm sure she is free once again. I completely agree with buying captive bred it's just the right thing to do on so many levels. Sorry for your loss.

She is more free now than she ever was in life...even before she was put in a 'box'. I am deeply sorry for your loss....but I know you will continue your wonderful work in her memory. :)

Really sorry to hear that Rusty, truly from the bottom of my heart. I have so much respect for the work that you do rescuing. As others have said, she is free in that habitat in the sky with perfect temps, perfect humidity, as many hides as she could ever ask for & an endless supply of the best eats! God Speed nameless!
