I'm baaaack-ish

Sooo I successfully completed basic military training for the Air Force last week. I'm now located in VA for my tech school (air trans). So far so good! Just wanted to pop on and say hi, all my critters are doing well with my friends who are caring for them.

I genuinely enjoyed basic. I got thrown into being dorm chief 4-5 days into it and maintained it for the remaining 8 weeks. I graduated as dorm chief and even got a crazy unexpected compliment from my super strict MTI. My favorite parts of basic? Definitely CATM (shooting the M-16) and BEAST week.

Well it's great to be back into the world of technology, although I barely have time to ever use it!!

I want to thank everyone for their support. Now, I've been gone for two and a half months...what have I missed?! :D

You look great in that uniform :bow:! Recently saw my brother at his boot camp graduation and I surprisingly cried :P! It's a very proud moment :D!

Congrats! I'm glad you had a good time in basic and I hope you have a good time with the rest of your service. Are you active or reserves? If you are active, where will you be stationed at? My wife is still in the Army and if we end up close together it would be nice to have another herper nearby :)

Yay! You are looking GREAT, you stud, you! Good to have you back and I definitely laughed my butt of when I saw the picture of you in the PT belt (or belt of obedience). I will be home from Afghanistan in two days! Also, clean out your inbox so that I can send you a message or two to catch up on how everything was. Look forward to talking to you, and how amazing was it to see your son after so long? I know the feeling, trust me. :)

I was put in the band flight! Never played an instrument before so I was voluntold for it lol. I played bass drum, front and center!! :aww: I appreciate all the support!!
