So I was at Petco again this afternoon and ran into this couple who were checking out the BP cage. I got into conversation with them and found out that they used to own two of them. Ond four footer and one 7 footer    You could have knocked me over with a feather! They had to give them up cause the town they moved to would not let them keep exotics! I sure as hope they were not pulling my leg on that 7 foot thing. (And no I did not mishear cause I asked twice more).

I mean it is possible for a super large and super rare female I suppose but man that's really really big for a BP.

Trust me Godsy, they meant Ball python. I still don't believe it though. They said they sold it to some local pet store. I will follow up on that see what I can find out

I think it's bull hockey, just like the kid who was bragging to my daughter that his sister had a 7 foot bp. I offered to buy it if it was true and he was all excited and said his sister would be happy to sell it, but of course it never materialized.

I'm inclined to file a 7 foot Ball Python in the same category as the 49 foot Retic that was in the news recently.

They're always much, much longer until the experts show up to measure them.

Maybe they had a burm. I noticed that young burms have very BP-like facial features.

Yea, but if it was a burm it would have been growing like a weed.

Furthermore, if it is not a BP & they think that it is, they should NOT be caring for it!!!!!!!!!!
