At what age do you upgrade cage?
I have a boa that is approaching a year old and is about 2.5 feet. I have a 4x2 cage that I can upgrade to. The current setup is 30"x12". Is it too soon or should I wait another 6 months or year? Thanks.

Why not? In my experience boas aren't as finicky about change, and s/he might even enjoy the extra stretch room. Especially if you give him/her something to climb on. You could always clutter the space up a little bit with hides/greenery/etc if s/he is shy-er than others and wouldn't appreciate TOO much extra room.

That's what I thought. Didn't think they would freak out like BPs. I changed tub size on a BP before and she didn't eat for 4 months. My boa is an Albino female. This should hold her for a few years. Thanks.

I agree. If you provide a couple of hides and some greenery or crumpled paper along with some aspen she can burrow into, she should do just fine! :gj:
