    I saw the favorite band thread and decided to see who everyone favored in the painting business. My favorite is Salvidor Dali and my favorite painting is his painting Swans Reflecting Elephants.

    Hans Rudolf Giger, hands down. My living room is filled with framed pieces of his work and my sleeve tattoo is inspired by his work too.

    I like El Greco and Hieronymus Bosch; Frederic Remington is up there too as far as American West artists with his paintings but his bronzes are pretty amazing too.

    Caspar David Friedrich (landscapes), Jan van Eyck I stood in front of the The Marriage of Giovanni Arnolfini for many hours. Raffaello Sanzio hard not mention him.

    EDIT: Dali's elephants on stilts (or whatever thats called) is awesome. I think he had them in more than one work. Regardless, i really like them!

    I've been to the Salvador Dali museum in St Pete, FL...redonkulous to see his stuff in person... :O :rolleye2: :bow:
