More Super Dwarf Retics - Tiger, Platinum, Anery, and Purple Dwarf
Ok, so I've posted a few different times when I get some nice shots of the retics. I got the Platinum and Anery out after some QT today and wanted to see if they would be allowing for some images. Sure enough the Platinum 50% SD was more than allowing, but the Anery was extremely flighty so I only got a brief head profile shot for scale analysis of pure super dwarf retics. So without much rambling, sorry for repeats, but I hope you enjoy the new!

Burm is finally hitting a growth spurt I've been watching for. He went from 200 grams to 600 in a matter of one month. And is in his second shed since November started. Punk still does not like the taste of f/t though . . . but will pound anything and everything live! Silly boy.

That burn is amazing! What did you use as a background?

Because these guys are typically too big and fast for my light box, the background is a 3'x2' sheet of Glossy White paper. It's bent so it has a backing and used like a photography backdrop. The Flash was reflected, but not diffused. And highspeed flash sync was used in order to avoid over exposing using intense lighting.

After some tricks here is the over active Pure Super Dwarf Anery male in high resolution on a nice clean backing :-)

    Enjoy.

Yeah, when I first got him his color was not showing well, but now he's settled in, eating well, and staying hydrated, he looks GREAT! Was super glad to finally get a shot.
