Rack building question

i just built a 28 qt rack and i only left about 1/8th-3/16th of an inch gap between the top of the tub and the bottom of the next shelf. will this be enough room to run the heat tape and still be easy to pull out?

Should be. Flexwatt isnt that thick really.

Absoultely. Flex-watt is literally as thin as cardstock.
