I actually just DIYed it & kinda just used stuff around my house- pvc for the frame & a plain white sheet for the tent. Super easy & I didn't cost hardly anything! You should try it! :)

Thanks for the compliments on the worms & my (IMO sucky) photography skills! Snakes are difficult to shoot. Lol. & I DIYed the tent using the DIY sticky that's at the top of the BP Pictures page. I just used white 200 thread count sheet instead of muslin cloth & used plain light bulbs. I'm also using my Samsung Galaxy SIII camera for now, my slr camera is broken. How do you like the Canon Rebel? It's one of my top choices.

thanks for the info on the light tent
i really like the t3i i think it is a great camera for a beginer like myself and an even greater camera for someone with more knowledge of photography. the controls are all within reach and the menus are easy to learn its definitly a camera worth looking at and they should be getting cheaper as they just came out with the rebel t4i which has a few upgrades on the t3i . if you want to know more this is a good canon forum i have been learning alot here hope it helps you and im sorry i cant be more help since its all new to me also.

almost forgot i highly recommend getting the canon battery grip and an extra battery so you will have plenty of power, the battery grip has some of the shutter controls on it so when you turn your camera to shoot pics portrait style you dont have to fumble looking for the shutter button. i also use a luma labs
shoulder strap which you can see some vids of it on youtube it really is a comfortable strap and so far i have no complaints with it. here are some pics i shot im just using the 18-55 kit lens it came with i have not been able to get any other lenses cause all my money has been spent on snakes and enclosures haha. the blood is mine but these other snakes are from a local show in san antonio i was at i had more but my computer crashed and i lost alot of them.
