    Stopped Eating
    Hello all,

I got my baby Ball Python, Lucifer, back in May (he was about a month old then) and he is a wonderful snake. He has gained weight like crazy (he's up to about 420g) these past few months and was always such a good eater, taking a small rat about once a week. But recently he is causing me to worry...he hasn't eaten since the 5th of November; we have offered him 3 different meals and each time he acts somewhat interested but won't strike and doesn't eat it even if we leave it outside his hide awhile (these are frozen thawed rats of course). We thought it was because we switched rodent providers and he didn't like the new ones but we tried one of the old provider's rats last night and still nothing!

I've heard that Balls can sometimes stop eating for a few months or through the winter but is it okay that he isn't eating while he is still so young and growing? When should I start to worry? Just a nervous mama here! Any advice would be great!
