    How to transport a boa
Not shipping, just like to the vet and back. I know I asked about ball pythons but I'm new to boas so I don't know if they would be pretty much the same for this or not???

    Sama
Yup, pretty much the same as ball pythons, or any other snake. Warm up the car if possible, pillowcase or tub. Keep them warm and contained and your good.

Ok, would a crown royal bag be ok? She's still a baby so she would fit with plenty if room.

This is my travel setup for any snake I need to take somewhere.

    Small lunch type cooler
    Pillow case
2 litre pop bottle filled with warm water

Fill the pop bottle with warm water. I make it slightly warmer for longer hauls but not too hot because it can burn snake. DO NOT BOIL THE WATER. Warm tap water is fine.

Place the bottle in the bottom of the cooler.

Place the snake in the pillow case and knot the top so the snake doesn't come out.

    Put bag into cooler.

Put the cooler into the car. Either have someone hold it or strap it down somehow so it can't roll over on corners and such.

This has always worked for me. And for the return trip, replace the now cold water with warm water again and bob is your uncle.

Sounds good!! But would a little crown royal bag work I stead of a pillow case, or you think it would be too thick?

I like the thinner a pillow cases. And if you think about it, the dedicated snake bags are quite thin too. But in a pinch the crown bag should work.

Ok, I found something that might work, just have to figure out how to tie it lol

But if not ill use the CR bag, it has draw strings, maybe I can cut it out and use it in the other thing I found or something.
