I wouldn't stop paring until June or July maybe even longer if there was no ovulation this isn't a fast process I starting paring in November last yeah and my female didn't ovulate until april. So its usually going to take several months. Although there are always cases of it happening sooner thats just been my experience. So be patient and enjoy the ride cause its amazing once you have eggs!!

I stop pairing when the female ovulates or they start sitting as farrrrr apart from each other as possible. And even then, I'll still try one or two more times. They generally make it quite clear when they are done with each other's company. :)

Not if you know how to palpate.

    Agreed,
I know when my females are in glow, I know how to palpate, and I check on them 3-4 times a day when I know they should be getting close to ovy.
They do everything they do in between sheds, keep track of sheds, learn to palpate, learn to recognize the glow after the preov shed and it all falls into place.

I know it takes a long time. But I was just curious. Because I have now clue lol. I pair my females every 21 days with one of our males. I just don't know for how long. But I also don't know when an ovy will occur either. Even if I check on them everyday
