List of local exotic vets??
Does anyone know of any websites or groups that may know or have a directory listing for herp vets, hopefully local to myself??
Also, how do you bring your snakes in when you do have to do so?

Where are you located and maybe people can give you suggestions.
When bringing a snake to the vet I put them in a pillow case or snake bag and then set that in a cardboard box or tub.

Generally snakes fare best when transported in a bag, either a pillowcase or snake bag work well. Lizards do best in a solid sided enclosure, preferably one that they can't see through to help minimize stress. In both cases adding some shredded paper for them to brace against/act as insulation can also be helpful.
Bring papertowels, too. Something about a car ride almost always guarantees a bowel movement, especially with lizards!
