    Babies stop acting cute!
These are my first litter and I'm enjoying watching them grow up lol none of these three are gonna be feeder my neighbor wants male pets and I need females for breeders. I think it's two males and one female but the female is my favorite one.

This is why I can't ever get into breeding my own food. My flat would soon be taken over by rats who were just too cute as babies.

Well until I reach my desired females of nine ill be keeping some girls from the different male breedings but ya starting next litter ill have to ignore the cuteness of the boys.

Lol, yes the babies are cute as heck for a bit. My favorite is that pupish stage before their eyes open.

I like breeding the rats. They are cool to handle and interact with. But no matter how cute, they are still food when it comes to it.

I'm surpried to see only 3 pups in your litter. My female's first litter was 15 pups. She just had a litter of 18!

Really makes me miss my rats! The cuteness makes it hard sometimes too. Last year I raised a bunch of chicks who were supposed to all turn into egg-laying hens. Well two of those birds were roosters, and you know what happens to roosters. That's life sometimes.
