    mouse with bump/tumor
ok so i went to get some feeders today and when i got them home i noticed one of the adult mice i bought has what looks to be a large bump/tumor
so im not sure if i should feed it to my snake or not. i do believe this mouse to be pregnant also so not sure if thats going to be a problem also.
any thoughts or opinions are appreciated

I would like to see if all the babies also have bumps or tumors!

I personally would not feed it since they are SO cheap and it could be some kind of infection that I would not want to pass on to my BP!

    Just my 2 cents.

Tumors are common in older mice and rats, and most of the time they are benign. Even if it is an abscess of some sort, the digestive juices in the stomach will destroy the tissues. So I'd say go ahead and feed it. Being pregnant doesn't matter either, just adds a little bit more nutrition!

They're fine for feeding...being pregnant doesn't make a difference either.

most disease ( as far as I know ) won't transmitto a snake. I feed my tumored rodents t o my snakes all the time lol.. it just alittle dense protien in my book. If she pregenat I would keep her unti lthe little ones are weaned ten feed her off . and rasie the little ones up for food items. ( if I had te troom her ei be doing it now for my snakes)
