I'm curious. Does anyone else here keep a liasis? I know Rusty has at least one Macklottes, but other than that, I'm not sure.

Me too, Godfather. I wish there were more people here who kept them. I love their thin bodies and the shape of their heads. Very sleek, beautiful snakes.

Indeed. Macklott's are actually becoming quite popular. Their beauty, price, and ease of care is gaining them recognition. About 2 years ago they were pretty much unoticed, but if you look at classifieds they're pretty frequent. I also have some pictures of them you'd love to see, I'll post em here.

Re: Liasis anyone?
I recently got a Mackalott on a trade. I was just curious as to others sizesand temperments. Mine is close to 8 ft and mean, mean, mean. I really don't care for mackalotts, nothing like my boas!!!

Re: Liasis anyone?
I was actually looking into a Children's Python (Liasis childreni). I have not been able to find much on them...except where to purchase them...ha:) I was doing a little research this week on other possible snake species to keep and that is something that came up.
