    Hi everyone! :)

This is my first post here and I have read some threads for the blood python.
I have always wanted one of these and will hopefully be purchasing one next weekend. I have had ball pythons, red tailed boa, burmese, corn snake and king snake. So i do have some experience. However... I have been out of the snake world for approxmiately 5 years.
I have read and have seen alot of pictures and forums on people keeping their snakes in plastic bins. And i have read alot of misleading information on the interent.

    1. What size setup should i have a baby blood? ... i have read a shoebox until it reaches 500g....
    2. Best substrate? .... I have read that alot of people use newspaper but with that how do you keep the humidity up and doesnt the ink get on the snake?
    3. how do you keep the heat in a plastic rubbermaid container? .... a heat pad..?

Any advice for a newbie to bloods would be grealty appreciated.
    thanks in advance all
