Rex decided to have a 100% perfect shed between 8 and 9 p.m last night while we watched. What a show off.

On the dark side of the celebration, this snake hasn't pooped in about 4 months. Eats like a pig. Drinks regularly. Is growing like a weed. And hasn't pooped in about 28 mice! That's right, 28!

He's active. Temps are perfect 75.6 -93.3 at this moment. I was desperately hoping the shed would include a little (or a great big) present.

I've tried the warm bath thing. No avail.

Would it be strange to pray for snake poo?

Wow...I honestly don't know, Ken. Have you spoken to a vet about it? (Someone who KNOWS snakes?) Congrats on the perfect shed, though!

Bath, massage, then a few days later a trip to the vet, if no results, IMO.
28 mice is a lotta buildup!

I think he got out and did it on the carpet then blamed the cat. You can't hold in 28 mice worth of poop without rupturing something. As far as praying for poop, I think you're better off asking for digestive tract health than for the physical evidence, but I am no theologian. ;)

Next feed, coat the back end of the prey with mineral oil....worked for Atreyu.
