What's this bump, have you seen it before???
I am just wondering if anyone on here has ever seen this on a snake before. This is a BCI, got her in a trade and it seems like maybe heavy rubbing, but I am new to boas.

Is it hard like a slight bone bump? Or soft, as if it were filled with fluid? Hard to tell just by pictures as to whether it's a structural aberration or the result of swelling (i.e. nose rub)

    Looks like nose rub maybe?

Do you feed live? Often times it can be an infection from a rodent bite.

I would say this is an abscess. I think a vet trip is in order to get it sorted out. I wouldn't want to deal with this on my own.

I agree with this. It appears to be more of an abscess than a rub.

Ok just did a quick google search and lots if others seem to think this is an abscess as well, and that it probably started from her rubbing her nose because she had no place to hide.

Also, just called the vet. She said she also has seen this and said its usually caused by rubbing the nose a LOT. The guy I got her from did not have a hide in her tub, but I put one in, can never hurt to have one AND she seems to love being able to hide. The vet said it should go away by itself as long as she's not rubbing her nose anymore!!!

Gonna give it a week and see if it even starts to go down, if not, vet trip it is!!!
