Just got her, couldn't resist, she's so sweeeeet!!

How ever, she does have this bump in her nose that looks like it might be from rubbing, but here's a pic, you tell me!!

Congrats! Boas kick butt! But I was wondering what was up with her nose? Hope all is well.

Congrats! Boas are awesome and you'll find you can't have just one..... :P

But that nose does concern me. Doesn't really look like a rubbing wound unless there is major scar buildup. I suppose it could be, but I dunno.... Personally, I'd have a vet check it out to be sure..... :gj:

Is this the boa for which you were considering trading 2 BPs het for g-stripe??? Wow...... She must really be something special. Don't get me wrong - check my signature, I'm a boa freak myself - and you can't put a price on a particular animal that strikes you the right way. I just hope you got as good a deal as the other guy. If you're both happy and satisfied, then it's a win-win. ;)

Yeah, I started to not care of the worth if my hets, I just wanted something as a pet to make me exactly as you said, happy!!!!

Congrats on the boa, but I'd be taking it into a vet: that bump doesn't look right. I would think the snake may need antibiotics.

I'm going to have to second what daybreaker said. That bump could lead to greater infections. . . congrats on the trade if it made you happy man, but make sure you get the bump checked as it is not normal.

But I do have to agree with Daybreaker and Reptileexperts - she should see a vet. As I mentioned in your other thread, this appears to be an abscess of sorts. And that would require antibiotics. Good luck with her - let us know what the vet says.

Unfortunately I wouldn't count on that going away on it's own. I'd bite the bullet now and get her in to get checked out.
