    Perfect background?
Often I notice pictures of snakes on a perfect white back. I assume this is a photoshop selecting snake -> cut background out so you have a pure looking picture. So..I'm trying to figure that out as well.. Just testing some shots to see. :) Any insight from you all with perfect pics is always appreciated :D (getting that "perfect" shot, what to use if anything in photoshop, etc)

I think that most people just use a light tent... no photoshop required.

Even with a light tent though you don't get the crisp white, right? I'm working on getting a light tent up and running as well. It seems like there is a huge difference between light tent unedited, and light tent + background chop though. Maybe it's just me *shrug*

Sorry, just bored and fiddling around

It's best to fiddle when board... Hmm that sounds wrong but maybe use white bottom and white sides? Not too sure I love photography but my camera was stolen

    Perhaps!

Am I missing something? Is background chopping frowned upon or something? I didn't think it would be an issue as I'm not messing with the colors of the snake at all :confusd:

I think your pictures look good I don't see why that would be a negative doing it that way.

No, I'm not saying that it is a bad thing at all, simply a lot of work if you have a lot of pictures to do... Personally I would just get a nice light tent and not have to shop everything.
