So who's breeding the Super Dwarfs?

/Edit: Retics that is.

Looking into getting one of these guys mid 2013. I know Bob Clark has a couple at the moment and that Prehistoric Pets have some morphs too but I haven't really seen many people who seem to be making the Super Dwarfs their main gig.

I've also seen a couple on Kingsnake and one on my local Craigslist but to be honest, I'm much less keen on buying one from someone who're more of a stranger in the business, I can't get landed with a snake that ends up exceeding 10 feet at the moment!

I'll have 50% SD Tigers and Super Tigers available in 2014 ;-). Till then, best place to go is:

www.bobclark.com - email him and ask what he has. I know he has 75% SD Platts instock right now for 1,000 - decent price since they are going for much higher on other places with lower reps.
www.traviskubes.com - EXCELLENT super dwarf lines, his females are around 6ft that bring the super dwarf gene into his mixes, he deals with morphs around 50% and 75% SD rates and he deals with pure lines. His are the same lines that Bob Clark use.

www.prehistoricpets.com - People don't like this place because of how Jay handles the eggs - however, he makes fine snakes and I suppose people do not see his track record with phenominal history . . . up to the OP though.

Michael Powell on Kingsnake - The SuperDwarf stuff he works with is of the smaller lines mostly - but a lot of his stuff is from trades. Still great reputation for retics though, and I can verify that better in the next few months since I just took the plunge on a new SD girl from him X-)

As for Prehistoric Pets, yeah, I am aware of their less than stellar reputation so I'm trying to stay aware from them but like you said, they do have some nice animals. It's kind of a battle of ow patient I can be with finding a good one that's a morph in my price range from another source. Although I don't think they have anything in stock for under $1000 at the moment.

I am really interested in the ones Bob Clark though but saving up for the Platts with take some time and in between adding some more BPs to my collection, I don't think I'll be going for it unless I come into a lot of extra money. Also heard about Travis Kubes in the past of never looked into him, definitely will now though as well as this Micheal Powell fellow. :P

I have a Bob Clark dwarf and my female tiger SD comes from Travis Kubes and my Platty I have coming is from Michael Powell. I'll have pics to post maybe on Tuesday :) its a bright golden platinum! Bobs line is a fire line but I will say bobs produces pure white snakes versus the more ivory (with yellows) ultras that the high yellow super plattys look like. The girl I'm getting is Almost a year old so she'll also breed to my 50%SD tiger male so by 2014-2015 I will also be offering SD Tiger Platty :)

What morph particularly are you interested in? Keep in mind Anery was originally found in super dwarf and genetic stripe was originally found in dwarf. So these animals stay small.

My original interest was to snatch up a %SD Tiger male since I've always liked the Super Tigers and I've wanted to breed myself a few Super Tigers later on but I've actually been leaning towards a lot of the Motley and Golden Childs the more I look into Retics. However, I haven't been able to find many of either that come in the SD variety and definitely not any that are within my budget.
I would probably grab a Gen. Stripe or an Anery if I saw one available! The Anerys look super slick, gotta love those silver eyes.

Hopefully by the time 2014-2015 rolls around, I'll be able to add more Retic things to my collection though! I'd be really interested in a Platty Tiger.

I have a friend with a couple super jampaes available and should soon hopefully have a gravid SD. I'm not sure if he's putting her to the other SD but I hope he is to make more pure SDs.

Lol I actually got a call from the breeder just because he wanted to see ifI'd like to add it to my order for $400 more . . . I said yes quite quick . . . now I have to clear out more space :O. It will be bred to my Jampea Purple Albino later down the road to produce 100% het snow SuperJamps! (50% SD, 37.5% Jampea, 12.5% mainland).

Do you know who discovered the SD anery morph? I was unaware there were any morphs yet. I haven't really kept up with it so I'm curious. As far as I last knew the only pure SDs were not morphs and any morphs had been crossed into other Retics at some point and bred back to SDs to try to maintain some smaller size. If the anery morph was discovered in pure SDs I'd love to know about it.
