    Question about visual het
So, I have heard of visual hets, and I am just curious as to what all could be considered a visual for it? Is it dependent on what the het gene is? I have a het g stripe girl and I see these weird little white spot around her belly in multiple places, almost looks like a different pattern might be trying to come out or something.

    Here are 2 of them

0.3 Normals (Coilette, Athena and Mary Jane)
1.1 Het Genetic Stripe (Bonnie and Clyde)
    1.0 Pastel (De Sol)
    1.0 Spider (Zeus)
    1.0 Mojave (Prometheus)

    0.1 Brazilian Rainbow Boa (Stella)

    Visual hets would be like:
Yellowbelly is a visual het for Ivory
Mojave is a visual het for Blue Eyed Lucy, along with Butter, Lesser, Mocha, Russo, and a few more
Fire is a visual het for Black Eyed Lucy
Het Red Axanthic is a visual het for Red Axanthic

I'm sure I'm missing a few others but basically a visual het is an animal that is its own morph that when combined with it's self or something genetically similar it creates a different morph, but it will be a like a super form not like something created from just two regular co-doms like a spider and pinstripe.

I hope this doesn't sound to confusing.

I believe 'visual hets' are animals in which their het gene is visually expressing itself.

Pied and clown are great examples of het genes that influence the look of the animal.

For example, het pieds can have the rail road tracks. Or morph het pieds such as pewter het pieds have ringers or extreme fading.

Most het clowns are usually more clean and/or brighter than their regular counterparts. And sometimes their patterns have the clown look.

Or maybe they mean recessive traits that are visual, since most are in some form or another.
I'm not at all familiar with het g-stripe traits, so no help there, sorry.

So partial ringers could be visual???

From what I understand visual hets. refer to het. markers, such as with het. pieds. However they are very (for the most part) inconclusive in determining heterogeneous animals.

Visual het is normally refering what the trade calls co-dominant traits. Yellow bellies seem'd to have made it a common term. This is because they are visual in the heterozygous form.

I've never herd it refereed to with recessives, would be kind of a silly thing to say, if they are visual in the heterozygous form, then they aren't recessive :)

This is correct. Pastel is also a visual het for super pastel.

A Clown is recessive but a visual can be seen in the het. I don't know if it can be seen in all of them. My het clown and even my het albino seems to be far from a "normal"
