My 1st litter ever!!!

Momma and her babies, she had 8, but I decided to go ahead and feed one off to my little brb girl since its just right for her!!! (She has F/T and I thought shed like a fresh meal for once)!!! Also, weird coincidence, but my gerbil also had A baby, dunno if there is more in there or not, but that the 2nd time I've ever had a baby rodent come out in 2 days lol

Grats on the babies :) I am expecting a litter tonight or tomorrow but this will be this mom's 3rd litter. Her sister has had nothing but huge litters and I am hoping she will follow her litters have been 15-16 hoping for another 18+ litter :)

Nice, I wish mine would have that many lol, how long does it usually take before you can call them weanlings?

The litter of 20 took between 4 and 4.5 weeks to wean out they were a little small until they started eating solid food then the grew like champs.

Congrats! They all look nice and healthy with a belly full of milk. What are you feeding them?
I just had 7 moms have on average 12 each in the course of 3 days! It sounds like a hundred little babies birds chirping all night :)

Feeding a bag of rat food I bought from a feed store. It's designed just for a rats diet and also is make to keep their teeth from over growing. I will have to get the name next time I go, the tag is somewhere that I don't know lol
