  Wow! So, since I noticed that Hissy had the cloudy blue eyes thing goin on, I have been soakin her for like ten minutes per day.
Good Thing: I picked up her hide & picked her up outta her tank & she did NOT hiss even once.
Bad Thing: When I picked her up outta the water & set her in the towel, she started to scramble for behind some stuff on the cupboard. So I grabbed her & lifted her up & she was still trying to scramble. Suddenly I heard splashing on the floor. Little sweetness peed all over the floor after soaking for ten minutes!!

Just something I do. I don;t take hydra out at all when she is in shed. I bring the humidity to her, not her to the humidity. Just a thought.

good way to put it freak, soaking your snake is way overrated. it is completely unnecessary if you meet the husbandry requirements. it's basically stressing your snake out (like crazy, because no matter what you think, your snake is not enjoying the tub or sink or whatever...) for no reason at all.

Soaking can be helpful, and it can certainly help you attain a perfect shed.... but you should see how good you can get the humidity first (I know you have had a struggle with humidity as I have). Also I've read a lot about snakes letting loose after a bath so hey at least you know your bp is digesting properly~

Got one
I have actually been pretty successful with keepin the humidity where it should be. I was just trying to soak her to help her along because her last shed, the one she was going through when i got her, was BRUTAL. I never want her to have to go through sumthin like that again!!!

a lot, actually from what ive read, of ballpythons have weird sheds and don't shed in one whole. Most of the time it has nothing to do with the owner. But it happens. You Just keep your humidity levels up and you should be good.
