    What to do?
as the subject say's. first F/T feeding.................went great!
I was gona feed live again, but nether pet store had acceptable rats(petland had none,Petmasters only had 4 but they were in a cage with a dead one and they had ate half of it).
so I tryed a local herper, and managed to get some frozen rats.

came home thawed one and used my forceps to do the rat dance. after about 30sec's of questioning Sirius snaped right on it.
only thing, it was a little damp even thow I dryed it off with a paper towel, hope thats ok.

here are a couple short clips of Sirius eating.

Congrats! A seamless transition to frozen/thawed certainly makes our job as keepers easier. :)

Ewwwwww....the petstore left a dead rat in the cage long enough for it to get half-eaten...and then SEEN by customers? That's some seriously bad management.

As for the rat being a little wet...that's not a problem at all. I've heard stories of some snakes preferring their thawed prey totally wet. I'm happy for ya that the switchover from live to frozen went so easily! :)
