At a Crossroads need some opinions...
Well I have another tough choice... I would like anyone's thoughts on what I should do! I have always wanted to get into Crested Geckos but I really want to expand my Ball Python collection! I'm torn between the two! I have until Monday to decide so any guidance would be greatly appreciated! One choice is a 1.2 pair of breeding size geckos Numbers 1,4,2 would be the geckos I would get. Total price $200 he would also include their caging http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/...3920ab1b3a.jpg

Next choice is a Female Mojave 66% Het Hypo she is currently shedding she is $300 Shipped.

Not worried about price just don't know what to do hopefully people can shed more light and help me decide

I love diversity in a collection and the three geckos that you have picked are gorgeous! I like #3 as well, is it a male? I also like the mojave and hypo mojos are pretty sweet. Tough choice, but I would say go with the cresties! 3 animals for $200, housing included, vs. 1 animal for $300 with no housing - that is what settled it for me!

Just curious, why do you have to decide by monday?

Well, I have also thought about getting into cresties. Just for pets, not to breed though. That's a good deal with their caging. One thing that I thought about when I wanted them was the upkeep. Now they aren't hard to keep, but they aren't as low maintenance as snakes. Say if I were going on vacation all I would need is someone to check my snakes and make sure they have water and their temps are good. This may not be a big deal to you though. The Mojave girl is very pretty. Is she something you would use for a future project? Good luck deciding and enjoy whatever you get!

Because the guy is holding the geckos for me until Monday! He's had ton of interest, so gotta make a choice!

Yes I loved this one also but he's $250 he's some Red morph. He paid $400 for him a year ago!

That's why the choice is so hard! Everything included and if I wanted to I could start breeding next month! Which I would more than likely wait until this spring to start.

Yes would love to make Potions, BEL's, Pastaves, Mojave Spiders love the Mojave genes! And the added 66% het factor is nice. Is she a pretty good example of the Mojave gene?

Honestly I am really picky about my Mojave's, which is why I don't have one yet, and I really like her. Pretty gold striping, nice blushing sides and a reduced pattern. And hypo Mojave's are just amazing, so it would be awesome if she proves out.

He paid 400 for that male? I got a bright red bicolor male for 100.

Those cresties aren't anything super special, but would be a start. I love my Cresties and my snakes, so I am not any help.

I love that group of cresties! I like the Mojo girl too, so I'd go with your gut feeling if you had one. Can't go wrong with either IMO, though it's nice he's including all the crestie's caging.
