    BRB should I?
So I've been in contact with a lady selling a Brazilian rainbow boa she's willing to trade me the snake for a sword. Soo my question is should I she said its a 5 foot female. Ill need to get a tempaury tub and all that good stuff, what are their temperature requirements? This is still a maybe deal i need to run thru what I need an if I have the money to buy it all but the trade is there and the price is right soo it's one I've been rolling around my head for last two days.

Do it! 75-80 gradient, over that is not good. Just keep it in a ventilated place. They need 75% humidity and up to be healthy.

That's all?? My house is 76 so I can just set up a heat lamp to reach 80 easily. If I get her shell spend time in a big qt tub then shed get a nice cage hmm it's super tempting and only reasons I'm thinking about not getting her is the lady has been feeding her mice (two adults a week which seems like not enough) and I don't know much about BRBs I just happened across her add (CL posting) and decided why not give it a shot ha as of now I don't have my rat breeding popping out babies yet but an extra 20 a month would feed her till then so I guess lot if has to do with do I have the money for the new qt tub (living on a strict budget ha)

Yeah, rainforests are humid, but not sweltering..
Boas are known to be great feeders, if you let her get hungry, she'll probably eat a rat or whatever...

Ya it's been the topic I've been debating with myself for well as of an hr three days now ha I want to add a boa to my collection and the colors on this girl are great for display. I just gotta see what the tubs cost, getting same kind as my carpet is in its a 4x2x2 ill just only cut one hole over where I want her to bask I think that would keep humidity up.

They really like to soak, well mine does. Provide it with a nice water bowl. My male is just over five and a half feet and I feed him one medium rat every two weeks.

Start searching google and reading caresheets so you can make a more informed decision.

BRB's are not too difficult to take care of. I keep the hot side at 83 and the cool at 75 with 75%+ humidity. I also give her a humid box & big water bowl. Mine is in a tub temporarily until her new enclosure comes in and she just had a perfect shed not too long ago. The only thing I would consider is how healthy is the BRB? I wouldn't agree on the trade till I knew that. At the two reptile expo's I have gone to, I have seen one retired male priced at $200 and a full grown male (assumed not retired) priced at $300.

In all honesty I rate the value of a snake by
    1) Health
    2) Morph (if applicable) & Genetics
    3) Age
    4) General Look
    5) (If for a pet) How Easy is it Handled?
    5) Gender
    6) How Much I Personally Want that Particular Snake

    Hope that is helpful.

I really don't know a lot about them, but boy did I fall in love with a bunch of baby BRB's at the Phoenix reptile show, they were so CUTE with their lil stripedy faces and the adults are gorgeous. Idk I'd go for it.

I decided against it but mainly because I got a message about a breeding sized normal ball and since I wanna get started breeding finally I'm gonna put all my money to her
