    He's so cute!
I got this little guy on Sunday and he's just so adorable. I love watching him eat crickets. He seems to hate his veggies, but what kid doesn't. :P

I originally named him Potato but my sister vetoed that name and we agree upon Sydney. :)

Cute beardie! How old is the little guy? Mine is about 5 months old and barely touches his veggies too. He loves his dubia though.

    Thank you. :)

I have no idea how old he is. All I know is that he's like 53g and loves crickets. I'm sure he would love dubia too, but I can't stand roaches. :)

It looks like your feeding collard greens from the pictures. While they are slightly more nutritious, they are much less palatable and many dragons turn their nose up. If you want him to start eating veggies regularly, try some spring greens, yellow squash, or Romaine and you'll probably see a big difference in his veggie appetite. Once you get him regularly eating better tasting veggies, you can start working in the darker greens like collard, mustard, or turnip.

I will try that, thank you! I have been trying to get him to eat collard greens and bok choy, and he seems to eat them once they dry out. I will try the other vegies, hopefully he will eat them. :)

My son and I recently saw one at Petco. It didn't care much for me, but it seemed to adore my 5 year old son (thru the glass). Those things seem pretty personable!

That's a healthy looking dragon! Nice colors to.

Young bearded dragons tend to eat more insects than veggies. As they get older that will be the other way around. Looking at your pics I suggest you chop-up those greens in to smaller bits as to not risk him not being able to swallow properly. And you may also want to offer him more of a variety. Try adding different kinds of greens, vegetables, and occasionally fruit and making sure everything is chopped big enough for him to eat well. Just my :2cent:!

My girl hates her veggies too, but loves her crickets and superworms.
