    An amazing hobby
Warning, this is a bunch of rambling of what's on my mind. So we have an amazing hobby with some pretty awesome people in iy. I came in to it a a reptile show when I was 12 years old; and luckily a few people took me seriously and I just kept these snakes awhile. The. I decided I wanted to breed and there was more awesome people who helped this poor little kid and and essentially got me to the amazing place I'm at now. Basically thank you to the amazing people out there and if you get a little kid in the 7th grade wanting to breed snakes take him seriously, because that is what shaped my breeding to what it is today. Side ramble question, how many of you have songs, videos, or pictures from when you fort started that now remind you if those days when you had retains dreams r only wanted a small collection, maybe regret? Share thoughts... Ramble over

I just assumed you had been hitting the sauce that night. Gettin' all lovey on us etc ;) "I love you man!" No..no I love YOU man!

This is a pretty darn awesome hobby, and the people in the community really makes it amazing. Wish I had got into the community many, many years ago. So long I had thought I was just weird for loving reptiles, little did I know there was a huge community of people that shared my passion. I feel all warm and snuggly now :)

I got my first ball over 7 years ago now, but I always had reptiles before. I think my first herp may have been a box turtle that my Dad brought home when I was 4 or 5. I definitely never discovered the online community until I was on my own and older, maybe 21 years old? I don't that it existed too much earlier than that! I have owned reptiles since I got my first ball python and love it! I know that I have gained knowledge from the online community, and while I haven't really learned anything new about husbandry since I came back to this site this past summer I have definitely learned about breeding and incubation (or at least re-learned what I had forgotten since it had been a while since I'd thought about breeding). Aside from learning that and about new morphs I have met some people who are, from what I can tell, pretty darn cool! Time for some shout outs!!!!

Courtney, Andy, Deborah, Mike, Leah, Kevin and a lot of other people whose screen names I forget and whose names I don't know! LOL I swear, I can picture their avatars in my head! I have shared PMs and just normal conversations about life with many and am facebook friends with some, or at least Deborah. And YOU, OP! Get some Richard Dawkins, son! :D

The people are what I love about forums. I am facebook friends with three people from the first ever forum that I joined and I talk to them all quite regularly! If you watch SnakeBytes, then the girl Sam is one of those people. I talk to her the most, which usually ends up being every day. Yesterday she started her day by locking her keys in her apartment and then at work she got a serious tag by monster king (she works in the colubrid room). I felt so bad for her, but her dad drove 40 mintues to bring her her spare keys, so at the end of the day she was good to go! I guess we reptile lovers really are a rare breed as I have connected with a ton of people, none of whom I've ever met in person!

It doesn't make you friends in school. That's why I like meeting a reptile person because they et it. Some kids are cool though. I've sold at least a dozen kids ball pythons
