Purchased Brand New 3 MONTH OLD, is it sick and should I return it?
Me and my boyfriend purchased a 3 month old ball python. He is missing a small patch of scales (about the size of a match head) from his head. Also I've noticed a few VERY tiny spots/bumps. At First i thought it could be rubbed off, but couldn't. He it's about to shed and ate the day before ibought him.also he has already popped.
I can't find any similar scenarios on the internet. If he is sick i would like to return him ASAP to avoid any potential conflict or disagreement. Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Help??? It's been only 4 days and we have already grown attached. .

Pictures would help. It sounds like it might just be some stuck shed. Make sure your humidity is high while your snake is shedding (around 70%) to make sure the snake sheds in one piece.

Looks like stuck shed. Should go away with the next shed, assuming it is a complete shed. He is not sick :)

Looks like some old skin, after next shed should be gone, otherwise he looks good.

You guys are awesome! I'm just worried like a new mama with a brand new infant.lol.
Also, is it okay to hold my new ball Python while he's shedding? The boyfriend kind of won't stop holding him whenever he gets a chance. It's his first pet snake.lol
