I had a little hog island lady who practically "growled" at anyone who got anywhere near her enclosure. she calmed down after a while. I will admit that she made me super nervous to pick her up. I used a hook for awhile. I know, I know...not necessary but she made me believe that she was going to eat my soul! :)

Very nice looking. I have a female that hissed at me once. I reached in, tapped her on the snout. She promptly stopped and never hissed again. If you don't mind, who did you acquire him from?

Thank you. I am just in love with him. I have actually tried the nose thing, i got a louder hiss and a bite ahah.
I honestly cant remember his name. it was from a post on kingsnake, i wanna say his name was chad something.

Gorgeous. Aw....that reminds me of how puppies or kittens will get soooo protective of their food.
