    New BCI baby :)
    Approximately 4 month old BCI female. Loooove the pink on her haha suggestions on names?

    Thank you :) baby girl's gorgeous and a tad on the nippy side... but took to her food right away which is great :) she's a normal BCI but why so much pink??

    Just depends on the snake: same things as some normal BPs having lots of yellows, some being really dark brown, etc She may or may not loose her pinks as she ages

    She may also be a pastel - which isn't a genetic morph but rather a color phase. Pastels often carry a bit more pink highlighting. I might've even said hypo, but she's got a bit too much flecking and grey tones to be a hypo. Pastels are often used to "clean up" the pattern and/or color in other morphs.

    Boas also can be a chameleon of sorts and they have "dark" and "light" phases of their normal coloring. They will sometimes even appear to blush. :gj:

    Very true, my bf's Guyana BCC really changes when she eats, at night, etc. Though I see zero pastel or hypo in the OP's boa, just an extra pink Colombian :)
