General rule of thumb is 24-48 hours.

I wait a day minimum but I usually don't sit there and go 'OH It's been 24 hours! I can pick them up now!' *laugh*

From now on... I say 48 hours to be safe. I handled one of my little girls 26 hours after feeding. She regurged and I definitely think that's what caused it. Could not find any issues with her husbandry. :( *guilt*

My hatchling is fine after 36 hours but she's pretty "outgoing" in personality and doesn't really stress easily.

I try to wait 3 days, but I always wait at the very least 48 hours. I also worked in a lab at college and we had a 3 day rule for all the snakes there as well.

I feed in the afternoon or evening, the next day I may clean cages or handle the snakes. That technically is less than twenty-four hours, but I've never had a problem.
