Ball python is hanging on the lamp

While the lamp is off, it descided to hang from the it.

I am new at this so I apologise if this is a silly question but should I move the lamp to lay on the top net-lid?

I dont believe the lamp should ever be inside the enclosure.

No, it doesn´t seem right. The guy I bought it from hasn´t changed it since he got it from the store though.

Definitley move the lamp out of the enclosure, your snake will burn itself.
