The first time I saw any of my BPs drink was today! I was feeding them and I turned around to see my spider girl with her head in her dish! I have 8 snakes and I've only witnessed three of them drinking (two only on one occasion each and the final one drinks IMMEDIATELY after she eats so it's easy to catch her). I wouldn't worry about it! So long as his skin doesn't seem overly wrinkly, he's fine.
Baby BP seems dehydrated....GF desided to try assisting her...
So Roxy Slithermen has a few issues and at this time there doesnt seem to be anywhere 35hor vets we can bring her...so my Gf asked what i thought about trying to use those lil blue sterilize water containers, you know the ones from the first aid kit ones... and we have not seen her drink in the whole 3weeks weve had her... and dehydrated she does look... AND wudda ya know, here they are GF hand assisting Roxy drinking..its so cute.. and GF says she totally seems to notice how much more lively Roxy is ...its so cute how Roxy sticks out her tounge and follows the bottle as she extends her neck towards the water container..lol..who da thought lol
Not sure if he’s drinking??
I got my BP a week ago, he is about 6months to a year old. I fed him live for the first time last night he ate that within the first 2 minutes of me dropping the hopper in.
im just not not sure if he’s drinking. I know he would never finish all the water I give him in his bowl but I haven’t once seen him drink. He doesn’t have any signs of dehydration. I’m going to let his food digest then take him out to observe his skin.
Should I be panicked? Or does something sound wrong?
I also use spring water for him with out adding repti safe.
is this ok? Should I condition the water?
Im a first time snake owner and everything has been stressing me out!

No need to worry. You will very rarely, if ever, see ypur BP drink. No need to condition the water.
Also....I have said it on other threads, but, I'll try again...
