Hinged vs Sliding vs Double door Enclosures
Sorry if this was asked. But what do you prefer and why?

Sliding door, it is simpler to put a lock on, and you don't have to move out of the way when you open it.

I love my sliding door enclosures custom built but it is very easy to remove the doors for cleaning and simple to open for feeding and spot cleaning

I personally like the hinged doors (The ones that flip down) or double doors like on the Exo-Terras.

The only enclosures I have other than tubs are Boaphiles and Exo-terras. I don't have experience with anything else.

Sliding hands down, feed my JCP and you will understand why. The unopened half has save me from a lot of bites while feeding. And I also like the fact that you don't have to worry about a piece of glass swinging down, just seems like a accident waiting to happen if you are not careful.

Although I use a rack system, I almost built some custom enclosures for my snakes with sliding doors. I picked sliding over hinged because with enough force and a determined BP, they can pop off the hinges. And even if they might not, I wouldn't want to take that risk.

Sliding doors are way better in my opinion. I can open the doors a very small amount or I can even completely pull the doors off the cage simply by lifting them up and out of their tracks. Swing/drop down doors are almost always made from acrylic which has a tendency to warp/discolor and scratches far easier.
