Mice sizing help???

Ok so I went to get some weaned rats and none of the local pet stores have them so I'm stuck with mice this week...that being said I have some large frozen mice in the freezer (for my rtb) and was weighing them to see if they were the correct size for her and they came out to only be 24 grams! They seem to be really big....I actually thought they might be to big for my RTB.....are my scales wrong or is the fact that they're still frozen throwing off the actual weight? If it really is 24 grams then it should be fine for my 344 gram bp right? They just seem to me to be really big lol

If it's a little bigger or smaller, chances are the snake will eat it anyway, it it's hungry.. Also, they might appear bigger just the position they are in upon being frozen, when going down the snake's throat, it is stretched out into an elongated tube shape.

Go ahead and feed them! If they a 24g mouse is a little small for your BP, but you cal always feed him a day or two before you usually would and give it an appropriate sized rat then.

A large adult mouse is the equivalent of a rats pup, a BP as small as 120 grams is perfectly capable of handling a adult mouse.
