So the world is going to end soon, right?

Alright, it was mentioned in TJs thread about his mystery clutch so I thought I'd get some opinions on the following:
According to some indivuduals, the world is going to be ending sometime around 21 DEC 2012. This is based solely on the fact that the Mayan Calendar ends with the winter solstice this year. I have my opinions and knowledge on the subject but before I share any of what I think and what I know I want to hear what some others think and what they know about the subject. I look forward to where this discussion may go!

The world will not end just because the Mayans ran out of ink.

well i hear rumors and see billboards and people claiming the world is going to end every few months, guess i just got used to it haha but i will share some facts of why the world will not end


1. i have yet to see a super pastel super spotnose ball python
2. i have yet to see a super pastel super disco super vanilla


those are 2 top reasons why the world will not be ending any time soon and thats a fact !

Okay, I can see Don's - is it the same one? Something similar?

It's just text so I'll type it out:

"There have been about 514 leap years since Caesar created it in 45BC. Without the extra day every 4 years, today would be July 28, 2013.

Also the Mayan calendar did not account for leap year... so technically the world should have ended 7 months ago."
